Important Update for Ricoh CPA - Scan

Recent testing of our Ricoh CPA Scan module shows an issue that results in inaccuracies when scanning pages. This impacts PrinterLogic SaaS customers who use the Control Panel Application (CPA) for Ricoh printers, specifically those utilizing the scanning feature.

The issue has been resolved and prepared for deployment on December 11th, 2023. The update does not require customer action and will happen automatically.

The CPA will reinstall itself after the update deployment. If you wish to update the service at another time, you can turn off the Service Client automatic updates setting before the 11th and enable it again later.

To pause the update:
1. In the PrinterLogic Admin Console, select the Service Client object from the tree view.
2. On the "General" tab, uncheck "Enable Automatic Updates."
3. Click "Save."

Please note that all Service Client services will NOT update with this setting disabled until it has been enabled again.

When you're ready to update:
1. In the PrinterLogic Admin Console, select the Service Client object from the tree view.
2. On the "General" tab, check "Enable Automatic Updates."
3. Click "Save."
4. Allow time for the services to update. Ricoh devices with the CPA installed will be unavailable while the CPA reinstalls.
